Diabetes in Cardiac Rehabilitation
The aim of the DARE study is to see whether strict glycemic control during cardiac rehabilitation may ameliorate the improvement of exercise capacities (VO2 peak, peak workload, ventilatory threshold)in patients with type 2 diabetes with coronary artery disease.
Effect of Antidepressive Treatment by Escitalopram
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of an antidepressive medication (Escitalopram), started preoperatively and given during 6 months, on 6-month and 1 year post-operative morbidity and mortality after coronary artery bypass grafting.
Recombinant Factor VIIa After Inadequate Haemostasis in Complex Cardiac Surgery
This randomized placebo controlled study will test the hypothesis that Recombinant Activated Factor VII (rVIIa) will improve haemostasis after an inadequate response to conventional therapy in complex cardiac surgery.
