Question: Do you think health care is a more important issue than the Iraq war in 2008 Presidential Campaign?

Preventing Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is often preventable. You can lower your risk for skin cancer by:

  • Limiting the amount of time you spend in the sun, especially between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • Wearing sunglasses and clothing that protectsagainst the sun—such as broad-brimmed hats, long-sleeved shirts, and long pants—when you are in the sun.
  • Using sunscreen when you are in the sun. (But, don’t stay out in the sun longer just because you are wearing sunscreen.)
