New York, NY (AHN) - In an effort to keep people excited about safe sex, New York City is sponsoring a condom wrapper design contest for the city's next official condom.
The city health department has opened the contest up to the public and wants people to submit suggestions for a special limited-edition design. The winner will have their artwork featured on thousands of official condom wrappers.
The artwork cannot be raunchy or explicit and cannot have any copyrighted or trademarked images or symbols (including Empire State Building images). Entries are due on or before Jan. 22. Online voting will determine the winner.
The mayor's office gives away millions of free condoms a year.
