Nachos
Nachos are a popular snack food, originating in North America. In their simplest form, nachos are usually tortilla chips covered in melted cheese

Ingredients
  • 1 (7 ounces) bag low-fat or reduced-fat tortilla chips
  • 2 cups cooked mashed pinto beans or refried beans
  • 1½ cups shredded reduced-fat or regular cheddar cheese
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ½ cup non-fat or low-fat sour cream or plain yogurt

Directions
  1. Put chips in large baking dish and cover with beans and cheese.
  2. Put baking dish in oven under broiler for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.
  3. Top with onions, tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream or plain yogurt.
